ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN
Architecture is a key attribute here where the use of natural stone, local
hardwoods and cane-thatched roofs exuding a contemporary design and elegant
sophistication. The property was designed by the prestigious Dominican
architect, Antonio Segundo Imbert, who created such spectacular projects as the
Beach Club at Cap Cana and the home of musical artist, Julio Iglesias. The décor
of the resort was created by Patricia Reid, well known for several notable
projects throughout the Caribbean.
ACCOMODATIONS & AMENITIES
There are 53 spacious suites and villas that blend the warmth of Dominican
culture and décor with the ultimate in comfort and convenience. Guest suite
amenities include:

Agua Resort & Spa features three delightful
restaurants, two lounges, two large freshwater swimming pools including a
beachfront infinity pool, a fitness room and meeting facilities. Spa facilities
include an indoor water circuit featuring mosaic-tiled Finnish steam rooms and
saunas, large pool with Jacuzzi, cervical waterfall, bubble inox beds,
sensations shower and ice fountain. Four individual treatment rooms and one
couples' treatment room are available for massages. Trained therapists offer
treatments with Phytomer skin care products and the spa director has designed
local treatments using coconut, pineapple, and sugarcane.
*All rooms include: Air-conditioning, LCD flat-screen
television with DVD player, in-room safe deposit box, minibar, European and
American plugs, a la carte pillows, bathrobe, slippers, Frette™ linens, Korres™

CUISINE
Executive Chef Edgar González Barrado joins Agua from the three-Michelin star
Arzak in San Sebastin, Spain. He keeps things simple using local ingredients,
fresh seafood and meats and organic foods whenever possible. The resort supports
local farmers and fisherman in order to maintain a sustainable community in the
Uvero Alto region.
