Coral Hotels & Resorts recently began operating its own chain of spas in the Coral by Hilton hotels in Boca Chica, Bayahibe and Puerto Plata. A fourth spa will offer its services as of December in Juan Dolio.

inSense SPA & Salon is the new brand of the health and well-being sites located at the Hamaca Coral by Hilton, Canoa Coral by Hilton and Marien Coral by Hilton.

To complement guest stays, Coral Hotels & Resorts has branded separately and integrated the operation of the SPA in each Coral by Hilton. Guests are provided with facilities for their health and well being of high quality standards and excellent service in line with the expectations of our foreign and domestic guests.

At present inSense SPA & Salon offers a wide range of 19 massages, facial and body treatments available seven days a week from 9 to 7 pm.

These five varieties of massage range from 30 to 50 minutes with rates ranging from US$35.00 to US$60.00.

Into the Senses is a neck, shoulder and upper back massage that lasts 30 minutes and ensures total relaxation. Wellness is a 30-minute service provided to eliminate back stress by applying pressure at precise points. Swedish is a traditional 50-minute massage designed to relax muscles by applying pressure to them and rubbing in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart.

The Deep Muscle is a massage technique that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue to stimulate circulation, and drain the lymphatic system, while the strokes release toxins from muscles to get blood and oxygen circulating properly. The In Flora Aromatherapy is a 50-minute treatment that uses relaxing essential oils that can be sedative or stimulating at the choice of the customer.

Regarding facial treatments, the new SPAs of the Coral by Hilton hotels provide their clients with services such as the world famous “Sensing Four Layers,” the “Sense Balance Facial,” the popular “Renewal Facial” and the traditional “Basic Sense Facial,” as well as the novel “Opti-Firm.” These facials last from 45 minutes to 90 minutes and rates range from US$45.00 to US$95.00.

In the range of body treatments, inSense SPA & Salon offers a wide range of nine services, including traditional body treatments to free the senses and “signature” treatments created exclusively by inSense SPA & Salon to honor the senses.

Among the services of the SPA are the “Sea Body Innocense,” the “Soothing Awareness,” the popular “Honey Body Garden,” the rejuvenating “Skin Alive.” Other body treatments available at the Coral by Hilton hotels are the “Dip-in-Drops,” the “Breathing,” the Sensations” and the “Sense Feet Therapy & Pedicure” and “Sense Hand Therapy & Manicure.”

The Sea Body Innocense is a treatment based on the traditions of European Thalassotherapy. It is a bath of seaweed, peppermint and flower-based oil and seaweed cream. The Soothing Awareness is a treatment for sensitive skins that have been overexposed to the sun, that is calming, refreshing and restores the humidity of the skin. Calcium cream, calamine, seaweed cream and yoghurt are used.

Honey Body Garden is a deluxe treatment that provides intense moisturizing to the skin by way of a body cleansing that purifies the skin and removes dead cells, leaving the skin soft and “touchable.” Dead skin cells are sloughed off with a mixture of honey, almonds and fresh buttermilk, and seaweed cream is used for a final polish.

The treatment Skin Alive improves the youthful glow of the skin with an in depth cleansing of the pores that restores the balance of the skin, and is based on marine exfoliation, floral oils and seaweed cream.

Dip-in-Drops is a double treatment with sugar and cinnamon exfoliation complemented by an invigorating massage with cream. Breathing is a body treatment based on peppermint oil, marine exfoliators and seaweed cream.

Sense Feet Therapy Pedicure is a deluxe treatment for the feet based on several creams, scrub and repairing OPI masque.

In addition to the massages, the facial and body treatments, inSense SPA & Salon offers full service beauty salon including manicure, pedicure, Spa manicure, Spa pedicure, French pedicure and the novel Spaparaffine pedicure.

All the inSense beauty salons offer shampoo, cut, blow drying, and styling of hair, hair color, highlights, treatments, braids, hair extensions, as well as removal of unwanted hair.
