Ocean World is the biggest marine park in the Caribbean
The world’s largest dolphin lagoon, the only sea lion
encounter of its kind, the world’s first shark interaction pool, tigers, birds,
shows and much more await your day long adventure at Ocean World.
Created by a group of marine animal experts, this new zoological marine park has
the most exciting animal encounters the Caribbean has to offer.
The park is situated on a point along the North Shore of Hispaniola with
breathtaking views of the sea. Once inside the park, guest will know they are in
a very special place and are prepared to experience a day of adventure.
There are a wide variety of animals to see at Ocean World. In addition to
playful Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins, Ocean World is also home to stingrays,
tropical fish, sharks, exotic birds, reptiles, and fun loving sea lions!

Encounters
What sets Ocean World apart from any other marine park
in the world is the opportunity to have an encounter and feel the emotion of
having direct contact with all the animals that live in this wonderful
sanctuary.
For most guests, the highlight of a visit to Ocean World will be the rare
opportunity to swim and play with a beautiful bottlenose dolphin. The
dolphin-swim experience begins with a brief orientation, after; the guests enter
the water for their introduction to a dolphin. Guests learn about dolphins’
behavior, get to know the animals and discover how Ocean World’s trainers use
hand signals and positive reinforcement to communicate with them. Taking the
relationship one step further, guests swim and play with the dolphins. Other
Ocean World attractions allow guests to safely experience the marine world and
its amazing animals.
In the Coral Reef, snorkelers swim in a colorful reef teeming with thousands of
exotic fish. The snorkeling here is safe and is available everyday of the year.
In the stingray bay, float with, and pet these gentle creatures that don’t
really sting at all.
More adventurous guests may dare to touch, pet and feed our sharks in our
200,000-gallon (760,000-liter) shark pool. These mysterious and misunderstood
sea creatures – many over six feet (1.8 meters) in length, will swim right up to
guests standing on a platform in the water.
Guest will not help but smile as they touch, feed, pet, and play with our sea
lions. Guest will laugh and learn as they sit poolside with these amazing
animals.

Observations and recommendations for interactive
programs
Guest must arrive at the park and report at ticket booth 40 minute prior to
scheduled time. If the guest fails to report on time, Ocean World reserves the
right to re sell the spot. Guests should come with swimwear underneath clothes;
change of clothes and towel for after program, sun block and extra money or
credit card for photos, videos and gifts. Ocean World has a digital photo and
video lab on site where guests can purchase a variety of photos and videos.
Pregnant Woman
Only allowed to participate in regular Park Admission and Dolphin Encounter. Not
permitted in any other interactive program or Tropical Reef Aquarium.
