I need some guidance. I am trying to get some sense from the embassys but not got anywhere so far. Has anyone got married in the DR who were from the UK?
I am wading through the red tape to get the paperwork sorted. My other half, to make things more complicated, was born in India but is now a UK citizen.
We need to get our birth certificates legalised by the foreign and commonwealth office - does anyone know the procedure for birth certificates issued outside of the UK for UK nationals?
I know that this is a long shot but I need help.
