Does anyone know if the Club Section pools and bars are open to the people staying at the Grand Paradise side? Is it a VIP only side?

So sorry, I haven't been on in a couple of years and I can't seem to search through easily.....does anyone have any insight into the Grand Paradise Bavaro? Thinking about booking...a little worried after the reviews.

I've asked around elsewhere, but can't seem to find anyone with first hand experience. I was wondering if anyone has been to the Catalonia Bavaro and upgraded to the Royal Service? I'm wondering what exactly the differences are (I hear there is separate check in, new section of the resort...
