Renewing US Passport
My passport is coming up for renewal in Feb. of 2010. Two questions. 1) Can I get it renewed via the US Embassy here in Santo Domingo? If so, what is the process. 2) Can I renew it before the expiration date? Thanking you in advance! Larry -

Net Wealth Taxes (Impuesto al activo)
Can anyone explain how the above mention works? Does this mean that all property owners have to pay this tax in addition to the annual property taxes? I read it's about one percent paid twice a year (in June and in December). Is this correct? Whatever help provided in answering my questions is... -
