We have a Mabe kitchen stove. The scale for the gas oven is 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5. We are trying to determine the temperature ranges for these settings. An online search does not reveal any useful information. thanks Phil
Here is how I resolved this - get an oven thermometer. Turn on oven and set to lowest temp for 20minutes.Note temperature. Turn it up one notch for about 10 more minutes -note temperature Etc etc.
Every single oven will be different no matter what anyone says. And know you will have hot and cold spots inside the oven so set thermometer in the middle of the rack. Always rotate food part way thru cooking.
Thanks everyone for your help. My wife wondered why the small gas bottle connected to the stove seems to last forever. I mentioned it was relative to use...............then the fight started. So the temperature issue may be mute. LOL thanks again everyone. Phil
