I took a bunch of video at Carnival today.

This is a short clip of some kids whipping the life out of each other.

That should be put on National Geographic if this is an accepted tradition!

I went to Carnival when I was little kid in the 70s. Back then everyone was getting hit with inflated pig bladders tied to a stick. I had no idea what was going on and suddenly a bunch of other kids and adults were hitting me with these leathery balloons. It didn't hurt at all but it completely freaked me out. I think it's something like an exorcism thing-- they try to scare the bad spirits out of you.
