LOL, here we go again......
I got conflicting information on the internet last year. I arrived on July 27 a Monday thinking I am arriving for the beginning of the festival. While checking into the hotel I was told the festival had ended the day before I arrived. I sure was glad that was not the main reason for me coming to rep dom.
I was informed the Merengue Festival is the last weekend of July beginning on a Thursday and ending on Sunday.
If you want to trust this website and the dates they list enjoy the festival.
