I need help in getting the city to clean the creek that runs by Cuesta Hermosa II and III in Arroyo Hondo.
Any suggestions on how to get the city to do their job and clean up?

Have you got a Junta de Vecinos (neighbours' association? The ideal thing would be to mobilise them and either do it yourselves or make an approach to the authorities as a JdV and ask them to do it. First step would be to contact the ADN (municipal council), then I would try the Environment Ministry (Semarena). If you get no joy, try the Vida Azul environment campaigning group. They organise the country-wide beach and river clean-ups every September. They could either exert pressure on the appropriate authorities, or they might agree to help organise a one-off clean-up event now, or at least include it in their schedule for September.

Good luck and let us know how you get on. Contact details follow for ADN, Semarena and Vida Azul:

Well first at all is not bad idea to work on that and koodos to you for
the idea and courage.

Now in the real Dominican world that wont be done at all unless you
find your funds to work that out. unless you get embassador involved.

Other than that nothing would be done because its not the country priority,
just better example.

went its raining all roads turn into a lake there are not proper street drain
and the few street that has them the cover are missing. gov aware of it
and what its being done ?

not control about garbage pick up.

you got a lot of work to do with your own funds I guess.

I wish you the best on that ambition of trying to help with the DR Enviroment.
