I'm going to be heading to the DR mid May and will be staying for anywhere from 1-4 months. I am looking for a furnished studio or one bedroom that can be rented at an economical price. I am looking to spend about $300, but preferably less if at all possible. I do go frequently to the DR so it'd be nice to find something that I can return to on regular basis. I'm looking to rest and do some writing so as long as it's fairly quiet and somewhat close to things. Beach area would be great but not absolutely necessary.
I like the Sosua and Cabarete area. Las Terrenas is also quite nice as I spent some time there last time. I wouldn't mind Boca Chica either to be able to explore the other side of the island more. I'm pretty open as I'm trying to be on somewhat of a strict budget.
