On March 31 I was on a Metro tours bus coming from Santo Domingo into Santiago and when we were almost at the Santiago bus station, the traffic was crawling along a woman was laid in the street. As we approached I could see that someone had put some bags and and a box over her face so I assumed she was dead. It seemed from her skin tone that she was a white person but could have been a light skinned Dominican. I think that maybe she got hit by a car. Does any one know what happened? I have been kind of haunted since I saw her and I guess hoping information will provide closure.
