Flights from Europe delayed due to Volcanic Eruption!!
I can just see the phone call now:

It's a serious problem for the whole world as flying is so 'normal' now. Tourists have obviously been affected but also businesses around the whole globe have suffered too...
More importantly my social life has been affected, my friends due from Manchester today should be here having a crazy girly week
Seems that the flight ban in the UK is extended until at least 1 am on Saturday although it is confirmed that a Thomson flight from POP - London Gatwick was allowed to land this morning in Glasgow! Confirmed arrival at 10.06 (BST).

Watching Sky News at the moment 3pm UAE (7am EST), as you say most of the air traffic suspended until 01.00 hrs Sat, Ireland has now lifted restrictions in their controlled air space and flights are operating in Glasgow and the Western Islands untill 7 pm tonight, Mayb more to come as the volcanoe is still spouting clouds of ash. As long as it clears for next month :cheeky:
Manchester accepting 3 long haul flights the origin of which was not advised. Heading for some cow foot soup (pata de vaca) cooked filipino style but exact same as DR so no worries this hour !
