the biggest clinic in POP is bournigal, a private hospital. i am not sure they have diaysis machine there but they do see tourists - at very steep prices.

Apparently there is also one in POP for residents with no pesos

I should have said this earlier....are you sure you want to get married to a girl while you are on your death bed!

Sorry, but it needs to be said

Im sorry but the way I read this was She(I think) is getting married and has a friend coming to the wedding that needs dialysis? No the OP needs dialysis.

But then I have been wrong before. :bunny:

Also needing dialysis is not on your death bed, I have a friend in the USA who is on home dialysis 3 times a week 2-3 hours at a time, and has been for almost 40 years.

Information

See the GlobalDialysis.com, which lists dialysis centers worldwide and information for dialysis patients who want to travel, including directories of specialist travel agents, travel insurance and cruises that cater specifically for dialysis patients.

Ask your medical social workers to provide your medical information to the facility you choose. They'll need a recent history, physical, dialysis record, orders, and current hepatitis status. Some facilities require that forms be filled out in advance. Your social workers should also be able to work out insurance details.

I liked the care I received at Clinica Dr Gregorio Hernandez but they dont accept international insurance and dont know if they have a Dialysis facility. I found the services there inexpensive. I dont know how often your friend needs to be dialyzed but may be worthwhile looking into it, even if she has to pay out of pocket.
