SDQ to Any UK airport direct??

Apparently there are no direct scheduled flights to the UK although there are charter carriers operating to and from Punta Cana, Puerto Plata and, I think, La Romana. These flights are not daily and would not be likely to have available seats at 24hours notice.
Tha most direct methods - all with one connection, are Air France via Paris (3 times a week), Iberia via Madrid, Continental via Newark and various other US carriers via US airports

British Airways has a scheduled flight from Punta Cana.
Looks like it leaves on Thursday to London.
Saying that, it might be a problem with BA until they resolve their strike issues.

If you need to fly tomorrow, then your only options will be a charter or scheduled airlines via Miami, NY etc.
