Apply locally. get hired and trained in the Netherlands and transfer to field service in the Caribbean region. You'll get paid Dutch wages to work in a Caribbean economy.

Check the link below. If you get hired by a Dominican company you won't be able to live on what they give you. As a Dutch employee you'll make more money than the Dom. Casino Manager
.

My suggestion - open your own company and contract your self out. Set up a route and hit the major casinos on a monthly or quarterly basis.

I can tell you most of the casinos use older machines that need both repairing and maintenance on a regular basis. I am just not sure how many have someone to do this!

Bally is the premier gaming equipment manufacturer on the planet and working for them will provide all the current equipment training and certification. Train in the factory, work in the field and there's a whole lot of casinos in the Caribbean.

Training and working out of the Netherlands facility will give one a good chance at working the Netherland region and St. Maarten is a short puddle hop to the DR. Trips just to Aruba and St. Maarten could keep one busy with preventative maintenance for most of the time. They've got a lot of machines there.

After a period, having reached a level of comfort and competency with this work, starting a company based out of the DR (if that's still the preference) would be a logical move and that affiliation as a certified manufacturers representative is the hook to draw top flight clientelle.

I know a guy who moved from DC to Santo Domingo as the Service Manager (and and profit partner) for Boca Chica's biggest and best marina. He followed the same path. Once you reach a level of competency where you can rightfully claim to offer the best service, certifications and market affiliations the clients will come to you.

There's a lot of money in the gaming industry. Not just for dealers, croupiers and pit bosses. They employ technicians, security, legal, accounting, food service, health services and a wide range of professions.

OP! Hurry up before those laid off guys in Las Vegas beat you to it. :D

I have already a banca deportiva en Santo Domingo with my own gamblingmachines and all the legaly licenses on my name .
But it give not enough money to life en Santo Domingo .
The license to open a small casino is very expensive en Santo Domingo .
Can also put some machines illegal , but it's dangerous to lose the machines .
