For those experts who've lived here for a while...is the weather the past 4 days normal for this time of year? I feel like I'm in Seattle not paradise!

Santo Domingo is flooded with rain for the past few days. This morning I had to drive through river-like spots on the way to work.

Today is either the first of second day of Summer, so I can tell you that this is normal when there are low pressure systems around. THe temps go down and the rains abound. We need it really.

i would myself not been that polite, lolol.
we are under the influence of several tropical waves,
one of the is even a so named "Invest",
even that the named one is not the one bringing our actual heavy rainfalls.
heck,
is the water quality in the Gulf of Mexico south of Louisiana the last months typical for this time of the year??
