Hey For Nassau,Bahamas a Valid Visa is required unless the Dominican has Permanent Resident Card for the USA or Canada

Or if Youre on a Cruise and make a stop for a day Dominican Nationals could be in the Bahamas up to 48 hours with no visa

You should speak with Senor Montas, he is the Honorary Consul for the Bahamas in SD (809-688-3787). In 2005 I had some guys from SD working with us in NAssau on the Atlantis, who had work permits applied for , paid and issued ( I travelled down from Nassau with the permits on hand) which was enough to get the guys through immigration to leave SD and enter NAssau, but the visas had to be authenticated by stamping at the Honorary Consul for a small fee ( I cannot remember what this was), and there were problems because the Ministry of Finance were not authorising the visas. All in all the above gentleman was very helpful and was clear in the requirements to get the visa. His office is minutes from the US Embassy. Hope this helps.
