Booked our trip -- anyone have any experience with this resort.

Any tips for a gringo going to the DR-- I'm from New York and know my way around but anything we should be especially aware of?

You should search for their 'riu club song' on youtube and practice their dance so you can participate every afternoon at the pool and in the evenings after the shows :bunny:. I am sure you will have a great time of you do so...

Nice Enough But.....

If you tire of resort life as quickly as I do take a walk out the front gate, hang a right and walk for 10 minutes to find real DR life in the village of Maimon.
You can buy yourself some great fresh fish for lunch there. Much better than you will find at the Riu.
