New to this site..

I am not dominican (girl), met a married Dominican man.
We have been "dating" a while now.
His wife knows. He told her everything, she knows he sees me.


The wife, and her family give him a lot of sh*t for
this affair. Yet she will never leave him.
As I am unfamiliar with this culture, I have a few questions..

first of all, why did he tell her about me?
second, what are the chances that he will ever leave wife?
I know it is definitely not OK with her, what he is doing,
yet she stays...and I believe he will stay with her, even though
he speaks of leaving.
If he were to ever leave, and we got together officially...
how would his family react to me? I know these questions are all
relative, but just some ideas or thoughts....

Why not just pay his wife and buy him. These guys come cheap. They are dime a dozen here.

How do you know for sure that his wife knows ? Even if she knows, she probably found out, he did not tell her.

If the wife is OK with it, I can bet a millions bucks he will never leave her. Why would he do that ? Why not have the cake and eat it too?

You are wasting your time. It is not a matter of Dominican Culture, it is a matter of common sense if I may add.

I will never understand why someone has to mess around with a married person.
He leaves her, she leaves him, you leave him, he leaves you, why always the drama?
Is he the only person in this whole wide world of sports that you can get serious with?
FIND AN UNMARRIED MAN........What ever happened to morals?
If he would leave his wife for you, what makes you think he wouldn't leave you for someone else?

He never told his wife about you, don't fool yourself. It this relatioship is real - you will understand it eventually, if it is just a fling - it will end soon by itself.

Since you're not familiar with "his" culture, then how about testing your premise on "your" culture. If your father was having an affair with someone else, how would you, your mother and your family feel about it??

I think everyone here has been talking about how Dominican men are allowed one - two "adventures" per year and their women are "ok" with it. Maybe this is one of his "allowances."

If she finds herself a single guy - it does not mean it is going to be any better, it does not mean that single guy will end up in actual relationship with her, not just some casual "affair". Who knows what is better for whom anyway?

Oh yes i know, but either way who wants to get involved with a man who is living or married legally or not to another woman.

I hate is sometimes when women moan about how bad men are when women are their own enemy!

some feel it is safer...no strings attached
others feel it's the she had him and i took him from her goal

whatever the reason...
it still goes back to the first lesson my mother ever taught me...
