Looking for penthouses in Santiago

For at or under US $1000 per month, I know there are some out there.
I will be available to look at them during the week that December starts in.
I would need to rent it while it is empty through Feb. while I move.

My plans have changed on what I want to do. I realized that I can rent where I live in the USA and in Santiago for that $1000. So for Santiago I am looking for a two room apt. at about US $400 per month. By two room I mean a bedroom plus a kitchen/living area. I'm not sure if there is a furnished apt. like that or how much more that would cost.

I can get you a nice 3 bedroom - brand new 2 bath from the same place im in. Nice gated apartment complex. 2bedrooms are 8000 pesos
3 bedrooms are 10000 and a bigger 3 bedroom 12000 pesos.
Last month my hydro was 29 bucks. Cheap!!

I know the inventory is limited, but do you happen to know of any furnished, short term rentals of apt's or houses in the santiago area?
