Hi folks,

I need a few good candidates ASAP, for a very attractive position at a Duty Free Zone in Santo Domingo. I need you in a hurry.

Position Description: Plans and administers policies relating to all phases of human resources activity by personally performing or supervising the following duties. Other duties may be assigned.

♦ 5-7 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment required, along with a college education
and/or certification in a Human Resource specialty.

♦ Maintains compliance with safety & health policies and workplace codes of conduct.

♦ Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.

♦ Is fluent in English and Spanish both verbally and written

♦ Willing to travel to the United States periodically for training and meetings

♦ Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.

♦ Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude
toward company goals.

♦ Insures proper maintenance of records of personnel transactions such as
hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and
employee statistics for reporting.

♦ Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues,
and ensures consistency in disciplinary processes.

♦ Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.

♦ Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness,
compliance, and equity within organization.

♦ Administers compensation programs to ensure compliance and equity within
organization.

♦ Conducts wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage
rate.

♦ Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and
conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separmations.

♦ Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and
turnover.


Qualifications: Applicants must have a bachelor?s degree, computer skills including knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel), Outlook, and PeopleSoft HR System. Must have highly developed oral and written communication skills,
be detail oriented, and maintain a positive team atmosphere.
