Calling all kiters, sponsors, media, donors and volunteers for the 3rd annual KB4K competition! Mark your calendar for the 2011 event dates: March 10-13th. This fun event will be held at the LEK kiteboarding school, inside Millennium Resort, in Cabarete.
This year?s fundraising goal has been set for $25,000 USD and we will need "all hands on deck" to achieve this!
Kiters: Please e-mail us to register as a competitor. We have two disciplines (same as 2010), speed trials around the buoy and big air/best trick. Remember that all competitors are also fundraisers, so you can start your fundraising efforts now and increase your chances of winning the top fundraiser prize! As always, we have multiple divisions: Men Open, Women, Juniors (14 and under) and Pros.
Sponsors: Come on board early and maximize your exposure! Supporting KB4K is one of the most fun ways to fulfill your corporate responsibility.
Media: If you are interested in covering our unique and inspirational event, please contact our team who can provide fabulous interviews, charming photos and more. KB4K was recently featured in Caribbean Travel and Life magazine, and we would love to see our event in your publication!
Donors: Give! We need cash donations to cover the 50$ riders? registration fee for our local Dominican athletes. E-mail our team and we can send you specific information about the young kiter you are helping. Cash donations of every amount are welcome....every dollar helps.
Volunteers: Join our passionate and committed team today, there are a multitude of fun jobs under our inspirational committee heads.
