2 Laptops Pass Customs???

good day....i cant locate info on the allowed 'legal' entry of number of laptops, cd.s, dvd's, i want to bring in 2 laptops and leave a 4 yr old one in dr, and some dvd's and cd's, for amigos, amigas...salud bmr

A friend of mine came to Sosua last year with two laptops without any problem at the airport.

I always bring 2 laptops to DR on almost all of my trips. No problems at all.

i never did that but this is how we got our laptops: someone had them in a carry on, few at a time, unpacked, of course. never a problem, apparently.

If they say anything just say one is for work and the other one is personal.

Put them in a back-pack and carry on. No problems this early morning at STI ....

2 laptops no problem

i usually travel with two laptops and have never encountered a problem, nor have any of my family encountered problems. Obviously you should indicate that they are for personal use and you should not say that you intend to leave in the DR.
