Luggage Locks

Is there anywhere in Cabarete where I might be able to pick up a couple of luggage locks? I need really small ones that lock the zippers. All help would be greatly appreciated.

Worthless. If you think bad guys working luggage in airlines don't have sets of TSA master keys-luggage locks are rerquired to have them-you're naive.

Better to not put anything of value in your luggage.

Yeah, I had a couple clothing items stolen from my suitcase. Somewhere between Ft. Lauderdale and Cabarete they took a real nice bathing suit and a couple of pairs of shorts. So even clothing isn't safe. What will I lose on my return trip? HA!

locking it will do nothing. if they want it, they'll go in. i use zip ties. they can cut them just as easily as they cut the luggage locks. but they are cheaper.

i have never had anything stolen from my baggage (knock on wood) however the two times i used locks, in 07 and 08, they were missing upon arrival. so, someone was cutting the locks off, and going through the bags. but nothing was ever missing.

after that, i just started using zip ties.
