Hello,
I have a client who's wife died. His wife owned property in the Dominican Republic, but the surviving husband lives in the USA. Now that she is dead, the land is his. However, the only thing the husband has is a legal description of the property. He does not feel comfortable having at attorney in the DR handle it without any oversight, but wants to transfer the property from his dead wife into his name. Any suggestions about the best way to proceed?
Thanks,
Bob
