I plan to do a "hotel hopping" vacation to Samana sometime in the fall. What if any car rentals are in Las Terrenas? I've found it easier and cheaper to rent and return the day after/before my flights. Here is my itinerary;
Day 1: Overnight in YYZ airport hotel due to flight times
Day 2: Arrive AZS/Drive to Las Terrenas
Day 3: Salto El Limon & Las Terrenas
Day 4: Drive to Samana, see Playa El Valle also
Day 5: Los Haitises boat tour
Day 6: Drive to Las Galeras, see Boca del Diablo too
Day 7: Spend some hours at Playa Rincon, Return to Las Terrenas
Day 8: Leave AZS for YYZ
