I've been looking to purchase a new washing machine here in Santiago.
I currently have a Haier brand with the washer and "separate" spinner in the same unit. It needs to be replaced and I've been looking at an LG and a Samsung. Both machines have the same load capacity, the units are both the same size and the price is identical...13,500., and they are both mechanical.
Looking for some input on what would be the better of the 2 units to purchase.
LG is at Plaza LLama.....
Samsung is at La Sierna.....

Power and Associates Laundry Appliances Study, LG came in first for best clothes washer vendor. Samsung won the dryer manufacturers awards.


This survey, comprising more than 3300 consumers, based its ranking on a few factors.


a. Ease of use
b. Energy efficiency and noise level factors
c. Types of special features
d. Design and style
e. Warranty coverage
f. Value

Not sure how the warranty coverage would apply in the Dominican Republic.
