Jarabacoa-hotel g. jimenoa/restaurants/night spots

bob saunders on 10/28 had mentioned a price for a room at Gran Jimenoa Hotel of DP 1200. when i called yesterday to reserve one of the rooms on the back facing the river they indicated DP 3600 - ?

2.
any restaurant recommendations other than aromas de montana + la lena?

3.
any recommended night spots with dominican music and dancing ?

If you like Pizza, Pizza Pepperoni is not bad. There may be some local artists performing at the Disco on the river if that is still open.

what kind of a room was that (for DP 3600): a 'junior suite'?
in your opinion: is it worth the price difference to a 'deluxe room?
did it have a jacuzzi/bathtub?

Was not a junior suite - one king size bed, a bar with stools, a balcony with chairs and a small table. TV. Overlooking the river. Small bathroom, tub with shower [very good water pressure], no jacuzzi. Husband's brother was next door with his wife and daughter - 2 beds, larger room, larger bathroom. He paid more, for the triple, but I don't remember how much.
