Good morning to All,

Please pardon my ignorance, but can anyone instruct me on how to upload photos to the Forum?
I saw where it asked me for an URL, I copied the address from the address bar, but it did not work.
Also, how about my pics on my hard drive that are not on the internet, could I upload them into the forum?

You cannot actually upload pictures to the forum. You need to upload them to a photosharing site like flikr, tinypic or photobucket and then post a link.

Thank you,

here is what I did, I uploaded the images to my new Flickr account, opened up the image and copied the link from the address bar into the forum..It did not show. What do I miss here?

Thank you for your patience.....always learning...

To link to an image from Flickr go to the icons on the top left hand side of the photo, click the downpointing arrow on the right (next to the Twitter icon) and select "grab the HTML/BBCode". Copy and paste the code here:

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/chiri_dr/3252470725/" title="Presidente by chiri_dr, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3090/3252470725_8a87f5f73e.jpg" width="374" height="500" alt="Presidente"></a>

Just under the video, click on 'embed' and code appears, which you just copy and paste here:

<iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/zKkOoD2fEeE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

<TEXTAREA id=watch-embed-code onclick="this.focus(); this.select();"><iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/fMU-ZPw3OGQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></TEXTAREA>
After making your selection, copy and paste the embed code above. The code changes based on your selection.

click the embed button under the video. the box should open with the entire code and it should already be highlighted. Cntl + C to copy and then to this box Ctrl+V. Thats it.
