I know someone who is completely bilingual and who would be able to help - depending upon where you are going to be visiting. It you are going to Santo Domingo, that is too far, but the North Coast is possible.

If you are interested, please send me a PM and I will send you my friend's cell phone number.

I'm sending you info on a contact who's an attorney, certified translator... and has contacts in the free zoness & apparel industry.
Perhaps he might help solve several of your upcoming challenges.

commercial fishing

My wife owns a company that will have her in the DR for at least 18 months.
The oppurtunity for our family is a great one.
I am a commercial fisherman from Canada and will be looking
for work in this indusrty. Is there a fishing industry in the Dominican Republic.
Where do larger commercial boats come and go from.WHAT AREA OF DR.
I SUPPOSE going to the docks and talking to others is a good way.
If anyone out the has any knowledge of ship or boat owners ,what they fish for here and
the different seasons and maybe a job thank you
