Merengue or Bachata Bands

Does anyone know any merengue or bachata bands that do weddings, birthday parties and small functions? I have had a few suggestions from friends but have been told they are unreliable, I am hoping to find a group that takes their gigs seriously. Thanks everyone for all your continued help.

Try asking at El Photo Bar in Cortecito. Live music there on a regular basis, more rock n roll but they might know of reliable musicians.

ANY band in RD is for hire, and if hired by a local, a lot less than you might expect. Just offer an incentive for showing up on time, and book them two hours earlier than you need them! Your best bet is to poach from an All Inclusive, if you want professionals.
