They are heavily involved in sustainable projects, have been for years. Plus they are one of the most environmentally friendly companies in the DR. They are a class above most businesses here.

Is there any other project that would support a dominican farmer ? He has around 400 Tareas along the riverside. He is tired of cultivating yuccas and platanos because of the inconsistant price. He diversified to growing vegetables but unfortunately he was stuck down twice by floods. He was asking me for an alternative sustainable project? But do not know much about the local systems?
