Info about luxury family hotels from the North Coast to Samana

We have a number of friends (14) thinking about coming over in a number of months, and they have already found places to rent their motorcycles in Sosua and Caberete for a 10 day trip. They are now trying to find some luxury, preferably small family owned hotels and good restaurants. Money is not a problem if the quality is there.

Any suggestions? Their itinerary can be adjusted according to suggestions.

They love to ride, and enjoy high living at the end of the day.

I have forwarded all your suggestions to my friends and they thank you for your great help. But I think I misrepresented their question a bit. They arrive in POP, will stay a night in Sosua (thanks for the hotel there Robert), pick up their bikes, and then start riding, never staying more than 2 nights in one place... so I still need other places as well...
