I know this might not be the right place to post this. but yes im looking for TRUE Worshipers not junkies with dreads.. true rastafarians in this area... anyone?

Smoking weed here in the DR is much more culturally frowned upon than in the States or in Jamaica even if there are more and more people doing it. Also, Men with long unkempt hair are ridiculed to say the least and Dominicans are not particularly politically correct in expressing their opinions about people's appearances so I would say if there are any here in Santiago they are foreign transplants.

I've known a number of Rastas in the East of the country, all of them Cocolos. I would imagine that Santiago wouldnt have any. Rastafarian ideals seem quite un Dominican.
