While going on a trip to Europe I thought it would be smart to pay our open traffic fines before flying (else I would be nervous until I pass migration). Paid one fine in Banreservas, easy, 1000 pesos, the other one was for using a cellphone driving, an I had to go to Amet office first. I was afraid for a long morning making lines, but it was the easiest thing I have done. There were no other people in the office of Amet, I got my authorization to pay in 2 minutes, the only mistake I made was pay the fine in a Banreservas branch with a long line before the cashier, 1667 pesos. Now I only have to go again to Amet to remove the charges on my name, hope that's hassle free too, but the Amet officer told me I can fly without problems, it won't affect you if you have open fines when you fly.
