catched it in my yard saved it from somebody confusing it with King Cobra wanting to kill it... (my wife). Set it free in the "monte".

I would like to know what kind of snake it was. Like 20 inch long, skinny and deep black. Baby Python? Any idea?

~Sounds like its a "Culebra Ja'ba" or Boa they are found in varing shades of black, brown and gray....sounds like bambino....look for mama on your property...they give birth to live litters not hatched from eggs...

not sure about RD but in USA common run of the mill black snake, eats rats , mice and even dangerous copper heads but generally considered a plus in USA , hope it's not poisonous.
