This is the honest truth!!!!!

TWO DIFFERENT DOCTORS' OFFICES

Two patients limp into two different medical clinics with the same complaint. Both have trouble walking and appear to require a hip replacement.

The FIRST patient is examined within the hour, is x-rayed the same day and has a time booked for surgery the following week.

The SECOND sees his family doctor after waiting 3 weeks for an appointment, then waits 8 weeks to see a specialist, then gets an x-ray, which isn't reviewed for another week and finally has his surgery scheduled for 6 months from then.
Why the different treatment for the two patients?

The FIRST is a Golden Retriever.

The SECOND is a Senior Citizen.

2 true stories as well...

While I was manager of a business unit in Holland, one of my warehouse guys dislocated his shoulder when a heavy box fell on his shoulder. The biggest issue was that a chip of his collarbone broke off, thus causing the shoulder to dislocate very easily with every wrong move. This was diagnosed within 3 hours, shoulder was put back, operation was necessary, and scheduled for 8 months later. Result: frustrated worker wanting to work but could not move shoulder, company forced to hire temp replacement, and serious extra damage to shoulder

Second one as well in Holland. Friend diagnosed with cancer... urgent surgery needed.. scheduled for 4 months later. Went to Belgium, had the surgery done in a week, paid for it, and got reimbursed by the Dutch SS system. Luckily for him he had the money to advance it.
