A friend from the US is looking for the best school in PP for his Fiance to learn English. Anyone have a recommendation (besides the usual "don't waste your money" quips)?

DZ, a friend tells me one called "Success" near Parque Central is decent by local standards, then comes
"Pto Plata English School" (creative name) across from Parque Luperon.

Well, if he is looking from the US then what is her stake? Every woman in PP knows where the English schools are. There are several and one is a good as the next if she studys and practices. Otherwise a waste. Tell him to have HER look for one, all her peeps know the answer to that question. Half the women in town are in a school but few get to fluency, they don't study or practice or can't practice, or the money dries up. Their circle of friends is 100% Spanish speakers so the can't practice is a real issue.

Hey RV, you might look into attending a few classes yourself. :)

I don't know that I agree with your percentages, but I like the concept.
Nothing worth learning comes easy; for most anyway.
English is not easy as a second language.
