    Wow, thanks for posting these.

    Just wondering if they come from the National Archives? There was a DR1 story about changes to the archives in the last couple of days and it seems like that could be the source.

    If these are from family/personal photos, you have a national treasure trove for sure.

    Pichardo, great pictures,a little D.R. trivia, the rifle held by policeman guarding prisoners and a lady preparing to fire was the San Cristobal 30 caliber carbine, Made in D.R. in the home town of el jefe San Cristobal.
    The reason I am familiar with that weapon, in the late 50's U.S. placed an arms embargo to the Cuban government,Cuba turn around and bought a bunch of them from D.R.
    It is a fully auto fire but if you select full auto it gets hot after just a magazine.
    Again great, great pictures.
