hi, very nice how many room and what would something like that cost?

3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms on each of the bottom two floors and two bedroom apartmentico on top. Total cost - estimate $5,000,000 pesos. Mixture of Dominican and Haitian workers, with female boss ( Dominican Architect).

Que linda! And the apartment for additional income is a plus.
I hope you enjoy every square inch of it!

Best of luck.

I'm partially colour-blind. My wife refused to pick the colours, so I told her " I'll pick the colours, but no bitching". She is very happy with the colours.

Wow even more impressive !
The only man I would trust in that kind of choices would have to be gay, lol

The iron is still be made in Santiago. There will be bars on all openings on the first two floors. It is a relativily safe area that is fairly busy with people always around, but no use tempting fate. Most people have lived in the neighbourhood for quite a few years, and even the Haitians are not newcomers. My wife has a number of reliable and well known male cousins that live in the area as well.

the house looks very nice but i am not too fond of the windows you chose. i know, i am a stupid gringa who knows no better but i like to let lots of light inside the house, we are in the tropics after all! and the more panels on the glass the less light. i like simple large sheets of glass.
makes no sense to dominicans thou :) they like for the house to be kept as dark as possible. dark equals cool. me, i'm a fool. mehr licht :)

I agree, I prefer large windows with just one pane - picture windows, however these were both cheaper and more sercure.
