Hi all!
Both Las Terrenas and Cabarete are good surf spots.
And it would be nice to travel directly between them but I just can't find a way to get there without changing between million guaguas and not spending unnecessary $$ on taxis.
Could you help me? I would be very grateful!
Peace!
Ul.

There are direct guaguas between Samana and Cabarete. So get a guagua to the main road, and flag down one. Bit of a long trip though.

Good luck.

Take the 6:30 am departure bus for PP from LT. . About two hours travel and arrives 8:30 or 9:00 in Cabarete. I understand the youngsters surfing championship in Cabarete last weekend was fantastic, a great attendance and a great crowd. The surfers are just catching on to the potential of the LT area as well and so much to explore. Samana is about to hit the map again with a new crowd as the word gets out to the surfing community.

belginak, Gordon thanks for tips!
6.30 am is waaay to early for me so I guess I'll have to find a direct guagua from Sanchez.
Take care!

and I always heard the best surf was just at the crack of dawn.

I also heard this... so the next question will be for a cheap guesthouse in Cabarete... lol

Ulabambula... just joking, but do remember it is quite a long drive from LT

A man after my own heart!!! Enjoy the surf, and post some pics if you can...

That is of the surfing, of course, not of how you look in the morning... lol
