Hello, I am wondering if anyone knows of a good center/doctor in Santo Domingo who could help a loved one who is suffering from severe bi-polar problems currently in the manic stage. Any names, telephone numbers, etc would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Or Santiago, could use the names for Lithium or Welbutrin in Spanish to get at the farmacia. Needed for a bipolar friend. Thanks in advance......

Most pharmacuetical brand name drugs are the same or very close to it in the pronunciation but they are very expensive. A knowlegdeable pharmicist will be able to suggest a good generic brand for a much better price if that is a concern.

For instance Verelan is a brand name drug for HBP. The generic equivalent is Verapamil. The farmacia sells both of them by those names.
