How far is juan dolio or la romana from santo domingo

I have a female friend who lives in santo domingo. We are making arrangements to spend time together. I know the sdq airport is not in santo domingo so I am guessing that's about 30 mins from where she lives.

Anyway we are considering resorts in Juan Dolio & La Romana. I need to know how far these are by car from the santo domingo area?

She is a good driver and normally makes it from puerto plata to santo domingo in 3 hours.


I'm hoping these resorts are an hour or less. I don't want to be driving all over the country.

FYI, you can use Google Maps and type in the address of closest point of interest and it will give you directions, and also distance in time and kilometers.
