Guys,

If you were to live in the Villa Olga area of Santiago, do you think this is a good area for foreigners?

Is there any good nightlife and dining nearby?

Also, does anyone have feedback on the Gold's gym in Santiago?

From my point of view:

Eh?

Eh?

Yeah and ?

There are better places, closer to more things...Villa Olga is nice however.

It depends what kind of nightlife you are looking for. As long as you have an SUV in Santiago, who cares about the area as long as its safe.

...and what makes this a "great question"?

There are a few decent restaurants, but no real nightclubs/discos in Villa Olga...

Golds is pretty big and has decent equipment...and better eye candy...

Businessdr,

Villa Olga is a good area for everybody and nearby is relative if you have your own transportation. Gold's is a fine gym, but I hate the parking. Take a look at the new gym on Rafael Vidal: Vip Fitness.

By living in Villa Olga, you have easy access to Juan Pablo Duarte which can take you downtown and towards the Monumento. Nothing in Santiago is far away.
