I will be spending about five days in Santo Domingo, visiting for the 2nd time.
Can anyone recommend any good nightlife spots as far as discotecas?
Has anyone heard of discoteca euphoria?
Here is my go-to list:
Monday -
Segafredo (Happy hour until midnight)
Tuesday -
La Espiral (ladies night)
Wednesday -
Encuentro Artesanal (ladies night)
Thursday -
Onno's /
Shot's Bar (ladies nights)
Friday -
Miloca / Onno's (5 beers / 300 pesos)
Saturday -
Hard Rock (ladies night)
Sunday - Drink in a park
By discoteca, I assume you mean bar with dance/party music (Dominican or American). These places are 20-35 age range, Segafredo a little older also.
If you are 40+ and looking for girls (which is fine) these places are not for you. Try La Venezuela on the East Side. I haven't heard of Euphoria.
Other nice places are
Cacibajagua, Proud Mary's, La Resistencia, O'Briens.
Almost all these places are in La Zona Colonial.
