Yes it's the same as Pueblo Viejo. It's about an hour. You drive out of Jarabacoa to Autopista Duarte (Highway 1) and head towards Santo Domingo. Turn left in Piedra Blanca (across the Texaco gas station) and drive towards Maimon. Go through the town of Maimon (watch for the left turn towards Cotui as it's not obvious...actually I don't think it's even marked) and about 15 minutes or so you'll come upon the mining operations...right before you get to the new tunnel. Can't miss it as there's all kinds of activity in that area.
