I have an apartment in Santo Domingo and live in NYC. I have a girl there renting a room for sometime now.It is a good for her and me.She gets the whole apartment to herself and my room is always there whenever I want to come. But in the last few years I've only been there about 3 seperate weeks.I want to sell and she has expressed interest in buying it.since she is already there. The bank people want me to send them a copy of my deed. is this standard procedure? I would rather fly down , have a lawyer handle my business and sign what I have to. What is the closing like there?
