Pichardo is playing with me as he knows Presidente/Brahama couldn't get away with a monopoly like this in the States.

BTW, speaking of monopolistic tactics how does everyone think that Carlos Slim is the richest man in the world - from his stellar business plans???

If anyone thinks he is just smarter than anyone else you should see what his competitors in Mexico say about him.

BTW, yes the US has had and still has monopolies but eventually most will fall, while here in LA they will reign until the end of time more than likely.

Ab Inbev's next 'victim' seems to be Mexican brewer Grupo Modelo, brewer of Corona.

because Dominican taxes on beer don't apply on overseas sales. Those amount to more than the cost of shipping.

When the outspoken and witty Michael Jackson(RIP), beer and Whisky expert extraordinaire, was asked to name the worst beer in the world he declared “Corona, ’nuff said, next question”, without hesitation.

AB-inbev allmost owns everything , they used to be the second largest in the world but then just bought the largest so became the largest. Their headquarters is in Leuven my hometown. They also own BEX, they want to buy Moortgat for their Vedett & Duvel since a long time but they wont sell.
