From today's Sosua News:
[h=5]Saturday afternoon, as we have already mentioned, the wife of current President Leonel Fern?dez visited Sos?a. Margarita is the candidate of the Liberal Party (PLD) for vice president. In her speech in Charamicos for a massive crowd, she promised more attention to the north and especially over the concerns of Sos?a. She said that in the past 8 years her husband has achieved a lot for the country. But that indeed the north coast has received less attention. The development of tourism has come to a halt. The meat processing industry (Productos Sos?a) is gone and the sugar cane processing factory in Montellano was closed. That indeed led to high unemployment and hopelessness for the people.[/h][h=5]But if the PLD, the party for which she candidates to be Vice President, wins the elections, then this region will again receive all the attention it needs. Also Sos?a, as promised Margarita, can then count on getting the long promised public hospital.[/h]

It would be nice if they would put all the bars back in long beach so we would have a place to go at night and maybe allow the casetas back on the malecon, just thinking, and maybe,ah, forget it.
